Eat sushi in Japan
OMMGGG! Japan is filled with all kind of weird and wonderful nibbles I was contemplating on eating everything. Luckily we only stayed in Tokyo for one week or else I swear someone would have needed to roll me onto the plane. Everything there is so fresh! The pigments of their food are so saturated they are literally jumping off the grocery at you.
Here’s a list of all the glorious goodies to try when in Tokyo.

Squid Onigiri
There’s so many options, the owner got annoyed with us because we took so long to decide what we want.

2. Kaisen-don (海鮮丼飯) & Miso Soup
I have never tasted sashimi so fresh! Even the prawn taste alive. Everything is straight from the fish market so you can’t get anything fresher than this.

5. Tempura, Battered Fried Seafood and Vegetables
Fried perfectly, very crispy, batter not too thick.
I don’t know what it is in Japan’s rice but it’s so delicious and chewy.

7. Mochi
I’d expect Japan’s mochi to taste better, the texture is very chewy but the flavor is not sweet enough. It just tastes like really chewy rice.

8.Pineapple Bun with Macha Ice Cream
The portion is huge, although I could have easily ate the whole thing because it was so scrumptious we decided to share after seeing the size.
The macha ice cream is smooth, rich and the macha taste is quite strong. (How I like it) The bun is crispy on the outside and soft inside combined with the soft decadent ice cream, topped off with sprinkled sugar. Oishī~

9. Korean food
The noodle has the perfect texture, cooked just right. Not too soft, not too hard bathed in sweet and sour ice soup. Very refreshing!

Yes, there’s only ice cubes.
Only after my cousin explained to me that I knew you have to take the cup and go fill it with coffee. It then becomes ice coffee. Japanese are so clever.
Japan has all kind of exotic KitKat flavor you can’t find anywhere else. They have like cheesecake flavor, pear flavor, wasabi flavor, you name it. The problem is finding them, they’re almost like collectables.
